More from Singapore

That's the trouble if one does not blog for a few days... what have we been doing?
Well on Sunday we went back to the Bugis/Arab Street area and Stephen took yet another look at the Thieves Market at Sungie Road. Viv really enjoyed Arab Street, especially a specialist store with beads and diamantes. I picked up more pashmina's!!

On Monday we went to the Changi Chapel and Changi War museum, which was quite sobering, but we are glad we went.

On Tuesday Morning it was Breakfast with the Animals at Singapore Zoo, so an early start. We enjoyed a river cruise for 45 minutes from the Clark Quay area to Marina Bay and back Then later another look at Chinatown.

Quiet day for Vivienne on Wednesday, getting some rest whilst Stephen checked out Canon's office's and then the odd camera store in the Penisular Hotel area

Arab Street and the Thieves Market

Somehow after breakfast we both crashed for a few hours. Headed down to the Thieves Market and then because of the afternoon monsoonal storm, abandoned that for a short while which gave me a chance to get Vivienne to go to Arab Street which is filled with the textiles she loves.

I also managed to buy up big in Pashminas for gifts for various ladies. Then we tried the Thieves Market again for fun.
